Live broadcasting provided by the Russian Ministry of Defense from Muhayam al-Wafedin checkpoint in one of Eastern Ghouta’s humanitarian corridors on Monday, April 9.
Following talks between the Russian Reconciliation Centre and leaders of the militant group Jaysh al-Islam, military actions have been frozen in Douma and the al-Wafedin checkpoint has been reopened to allow for the withdrawal of evacuees from the city.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defence, 100 buses have arrived to evacuate militants and their family members in from Douma.
