Running on Love with GOD Q&A Question:
IS WORLD PEACE POSSIBLE AND HOW?
Looking around the world it seems impossible to believe that we can ever experience world peace. I am assured that there will be world peace for an eternity. Hashem God not only tells me that this is in His plan, He says that we are the generation that will bring peace to our world. Wow! Isn’t this incredible news? It is also troubling to hear this when we look around the world and see terror and war every time we watch the news.
The answer to how we will bring peace isn’t in more bombs and more war. The answer to how can we bring peace is likely a daunting one to most people. You. You and every person in the world is responsible to work on bringing peace to our world.
On the next program of Running on Love with GOD, I will go into detail as to what is needed for us to bring peace to our world. Listen Sunday April 30th at 1pm NY/8pm Israel. Set a reminder:
This Running on Love with GOD program picture is of a deeply emotional memorial called “Shoes on the Danube Bank”. It is in Budapest Hungary and was created to honor the thousands of men, women and children (Most of them Budapest Jews) who were shot dead by fascist Arrow Cross militiamen aligned with Nazi Germany in Budapest during World War II. Just before they were shot, they were ordered to take off their shoes, and their bodies fell into the water and were swept away. The memorial at the edge of the Danube of metal sculpted shoes represent their shoes they left behind on the bank.
We often hear the slogan “NEVER AGAIN”. Without action, they’re only words. Must you try on their shoes? GOD FORBID!! What will wake you up to know that our very existence hangs in the balance. We are seeing people murdered around the world in acts of terrorism and war. Because it isn’t in your backyard is not an excuse to be silent. Every decent human being must wake up for the sake of our children and take personal action.
The great news is, if we wake up and do this work we are the generation of world peace! May there be world peace in our time!
